Welcome to the Unofficial Homepage of Daniel Karlsson!

Who am I?

On Friday the 8:th of June 2001 I sat drinking a beer at our car at a parking area at Sweden Rock Festival in Norje, Blekinge, Sweden, when a passing hardrocker suddenly turned to me and said: –“What a fuck! Kenny – what are you doing here?” It turned out that he had mistaken me for the successful Cart driver Kenny Bräck! (He later told us that some people think he looks like Phil Collins; according to my opinion much more true than that I look like Kenny Bräck.) Since then some people keep calling me Kenny…

During the summer of 2003 no less than three people were of the opinion that I looked like one of the absolute best hockey players in the world: Peter “Foppa” Forsberg!

Well, what do you think? Are Daniel Karlsson, Kenny Bräck, and Peter Forsberg look-alikes? Below three pictures are presented, showing the three of us. Are you able to point out who is who? Please, click on the photo you think shows me, and you’ll see if you’re correct!

Here you can view some other celebrities that I, at single occasions, have been told I show similarities to.

Now you probably have an idea of what I look like, but what about my personality? After surfing around among the different subpages of this web site, I think you have constructed an idea about that too. Whether that idea will be in congruence with (my!?) reality or not, is of course a completely different question, but that is what I recommend you to do right now: Surf these pages!

Navigation

To navigate around on this site you use the “Navigator” at the top of most of the subpages. Choose a category and you will be taken there!

Note, some functions on this site needs that your browser enables JavaScript.

Languages

Most text contents on this site are in Swedish, some in English, and some in both Swedish and English. (It is noted for each category in the navigator list.) If your knowledge in Swedish (or English) is very limited you may try InterTran’s web translator:  http://intertran1.tranexp.com/Translate/. Just type in or copy the complete URL (web address) of the web page you like to translate. Choose from what language to what language you like to translate, and then translate. You can translate between any two of the following languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Filipino (Tagalog), Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Latin American Spanish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Welsh.

However, note that this automatic web translator works extremely badly! It is very likely that translations are almost impossible to understand, and it is likely that misinterpretations will occur. Actually, if you know both English and Swedish, it’s real funny to translate a page and then compare the translation with the original!

Privacy Policy

A considerable part of the contents on these pages is private photos. I order to protect the integrity of persons on these photos, as well as of persons mentioned in text, I apply the following privacy policy:

1)      Before, or in connection with the publication of the material on this site, I try to (within reasonable limits) get in contact with the parties concerned, and inform them about the publication. By this I give them the opportunity to raise any objections against their participation.

2)      These pages are (to my knowledge) not linked from anywhere outside this web site. Further, they are attached with so called “Robots META tags”. This means that it is unlikely that these pages will become registered by or searchable in search engines on the Internet. Moreover, most folders are equipped with a “false” index page, to avoid file listing. (Try for example http://www.df.lth.se/~daniel/.) All these taken together implies that it is very improbable that someone could find and watch the contents, unless I, directly or indirectly, have provided that person with an exact URL (web address) to any of the subpages of this site.

3)      If someone that figures on photos or/and in text on this site, of any reason, would like to be removed (in part or in complete), or would prefer an editing of parts of or all the corresponding material, that person should get in touch with me. In that case the most convenient way to contact me is by sending an e-mail to Daniel@df.lth.se.
