The first Scanian mailing list on the Internet is located at the Computer Association at Lund University and the Lund Institute of Technology. This is a short description:
"Discussions about Scania (Swedish provinces of Halland, Blekinge and Skåne) are encouraged. A considerable width of subjects is possible: Economics, industry and commerce, politics, communications, history, culture, language, social interactions etc. and other relevant issues. The list is not based on any particular political viewpoints, religion and the like. Its character is general."
Languages are Scanian, Swedish, Danish and English. For the moment, almost all discussions are in the Scandinavian languages but questions and discussions initiated in English are very welcome.
The charter is this.
In order to join the list, send an e-mail to majordomo@df.lth.se and on a single line write:
subscribe scania
(The subject line is not important and can be left empty.)
[In order to later leave the list, on a single line write:
unsubscribe scania ]
You can also send the command "help" (no quotation marks, of course) to the same address to get more instructions.
When you have done this, all messages intended for the other people on the list should be sent to the mailing address:
scania*df.lth.se
