Mother's sausage ---------------- 2-3 onion 300 gram of lightly smoked polony sausage 1-2 tblsp butter 1 dl milk ½ tsp parika ½ dl pickled cucumber salt white pepper 4 serving mashed potato breadcrumbs brown sause Prehet the owen to 250'C( about 420'Fahrenheit). Peel and clove the onion. Pull of the skin if the sausage and cut it into strips. Melt the butter in a pan and add the onion and sausage until it get some colour. Add the sauce and add with milk and water until it get a nice stew. Simmer for 5 minutes and add cucumber, paprika, salt and pepper. Spread mashed potato in a owenproof dish but leave some space for the stew in the middle. Put the stew in the middle and spread some breadcrumbs over it. Put it in the owen for about 15 minutes. Serve with broccoli or savoy cabbage. Make 4 serves
