Features are missing when I switch languagesIf you select a language setting and notice that a feature has suddenly disappeared, don't worry. Some of the features available in the English setting may not be available when you select another language setting, and vice versa. Our linguistic field team is working hard to introduce the most commonly requested features to additional languages, so thanks for your patience. Continuous Aspect - Currently only available in English, Chinese, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Berber, Jèrriais, Russian, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, Quechua, and Japanese. Please note that, even in Chinese, Gmail is unable to make a distinction between the continuous and progressive aspects. Pronoun Dropping - Currently only available in Japanese and Turkish. The Dative Case - Although initially available in beta, the dative case feature is now being phased out. Use of dative-cased pronouns is depreciated, and will likely be removed in future revisions of Gmail. Spellcheck - Due to technical limitations, spellcheck is currently only available in non-synthetic languages. We are currently working to increase the prevalence of särskrivning in the scandinavian countries, mostly through poorly translated technical manuals. We hope to make spellcheck available in Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian soon. Was this article:The information you were looking for?
