The Västanå iron mine is located in northeastern Skåne, southern Sweden. This small mine produced minor amounts of iron ore between 1804 and 1916, and is the type locality for the rare aluminum phosphate minerals attakolite, augelite, berlinite and trolleite, all described by Blomstrand in 1868.
