An application for making labels for mineral specimens in collections.
SMLS is free, quite powerful but unfortunately a bit tricky to use. The database for automatic mineral formulas comes from Athena mineralogy on the web (modified .html). SMLS is only available for Win32 (works with win95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP).
It was created in 1999 and later modified in 2001, but is no longer developed.
I use it myself but I think it maybe might be a bit tricky to understand how it works.
