THEY CAME,
THEY PLAYED,
THEY BLOCKED THE DRIVEWAY

WFMU (New Jersey radio station)
release date: 1993

track 14 "Farewell Angelina"(B Dylan) 8:39

Jeff Buckley: voice, harmonica, bodhran (Irish hand drum)
Gary Lucas: electrified National Steel guitar

Produced by Nicholas Hill for the weekly live music program, "The Music Faucet" and engineered by Irene Trudell at WFMU's Palatial Studio B.

Farewell Angelina was broadcast live on Sunday evening, November 10, 1991. This compilation was given to those folks who pledged $91.10 or more during WFMU's Spring 1993 fundraising marathon. It is from Jeff Buckley's first live radio appearance. It is still available in limited edition from WFMU.

To get all of these discs is a waste of money and probably a big waste of time, but on the THEY CAME, THEY PLAYED, THEY BLOCKED THE DRIVEWAY compilation you can find a track you can't find on any other disc, Farewell Angelina.

Unfortunately, that disc is no longer on sale. Hopefully it will be sold through their new partner that's going to sell their records.
